Hike of the Month - Glen Falls

Glen Falls is a golden oldie of the Highlands area.  This hike is complete with 3 large sections of waterfalls.  It is extremely popular - in the summertime, cars line the side of the road because the ample parking lot is full!  We will be doing this in what some might consider "peak season"...although, we'll be doing it with a twist!  The trail starts at the end of a gravel road - it just depends on which gravel road you are on (wink, wink). You can take the trail from the top down...this is what most people do, and turn around after the last section of the falls.  When I have done it in the past, I've started at the top and gone all the way to the bottom...where I discovered a different gravel road and a different trailhead starting point.  We will be completing this hike from that point,…
