Hike of the Month - Raven Rock Falls

I don't know much about happiness, but I'm pretty sure it starts with being outside! Hiking is one of my favorite hobbies and we are lucky to live in a place with opportunities for new views. I'm offering (for free) 6 guided hikes this year, one per month. This will be our third hike for 2023.

About the event
Raven Rock Falls is a beautiful hike near Lake Toxaway that many people I've talked with have never been. If that includes you, I would encourage you to join me fo this one...make sure you bring your camera! This trail is an out-and-back trail that is approximately 3 miles round trip...part of the trail can be done as a loop, which is how we will do it to take in all of the sites unless there has been a significant amount of rain making the water crossings impassable. Part of the loop section will involve some creek crossings. We will take a spur trail down to see John Fisher Falls on the way in!
Total elevation gain is 646 feet, which doesn't sound like much, but this hike can be strenous at times. I would consider it moderately difficult. The hike will begin promptly at 1pm. I encourage you to…
